Class of 2020 Graduation

Members of the class of 2020 picked up their diplomas by appointment during the week leading up to the virtual commencement ceremony. With a keepsake pen, they each signed their names to the Hippocratic Oath, adding the initials “M.D.” to their names for the first time.

Welcome Jerell Blackburn!

The Office of Student Affairs welcomes Jerell Blackburn as the new Office Manager. Prior to joining the College of Medicine, Jerell spent 2+ years with the College of Dentistry developing and maintaining programs and collaborative relations with students, faculty and staff. Jerell’s energy is infectious! He beams with positivity and excitement for the job, and will go out of his way to introduce himself to new people – so don’t be surprised if he stops you in the hallway.
