Faculty as Educators Bootcamp
Overview
The Faculty as Educators (FasE) bootcamp delivers high-yield core teaching topics in a one half-day interactive session at the time of faculty onboarding each year.
The goal of this concentrated workshop is to equip every new teaching faculty with the foundational teaching skills and supportive network to successfully launch their teaching career.

Target Audience
Any junior clinical faculty within 3 years out of postgraduate training and/or clinical faculty new to academic medicine with teaching responsibilities.

1. Apply effective feedback models to deliver constructive SMART feedback during clinical encounters.
2. Differentiate the key features of a high-quality vs. low-quality narrative evaluation
3. Integrate the microskills of one clinical teaching model into the inpatient or outpatient learning environment

Faculty as Educators Series
Overview
The Faculty as Educators series is a longitudinal faculty development offering which provides monthly 1-hour in-person sessions from August through May for sustained faculty development in core and advanced teaching skills. This series recognizes that teaching excellence develops over time through reflection, practice, and peer interactions.
