Academy in Medical Education Scholarship (AIMES)

The new medical education research scholarship pathways within the Academy in Medical Education Scholarship (AIMES) offers opportunities for faculty across the entire College of Medicine to develop and grow fundamental rigorous skills in medical educational research. This comprehensive program advances faculty with the knowledge, skills, and community support needed to design, conduct, and publish high-quality medical education curriculum and research. This further builds the foundations for the new Academy of Medical Education Scholarship (AIMES) at the UF College of Medicine, Gainesville. 

Three pathways will exist for faculty to advance their medical education research skills and productivity at their own pace and level of engagement. Providing flexible pathways for skills development and career advancement in medical education research and clinical teaching excellence is essential to support and engage our busy clinical faculty across all career stages and scholarly interests. These offerings are designed to meet faculty at the workplace and where they are in their educational career journey.
