- Artificial Intelligence
New AI policy referring to the students’ use of LLM and other forms of AI to accomplish tasks in a responsible, ethical and professional manner.
Motion to approve Artificial Intelligence policy.

- OMFS Fundamentals of Clinical Medicine Syllabus
Is an introductory course for the OMFS students joining OME in 2nd year and then at the end of 2nd year joining the 1st year students for Cardio and Respiratory. Largely intended to help with physical examination and clinical skills focused on physical exam below the neck. The OMFS students did not have any coaching on breaking bad news so including the education for the 2nd year OMFS students and to be added as a new course objective.

- Foundations Syllabus
- Update of learning objectives compared to the content in the Foundations course

- ICM 2 Syllabus (2-part vote)
- Update learning objectives 12-15 to incorporate more Psychiatry content.

- Adding oral presentation and note writing to the clinical skills practical.
Motion to approve the change to the clinical skills practical content and assessment as outlined today.

- Continuity Clinic task force
- Proposed piloting a new continuity clerkship, moving forward with a syllabus and leadership with the 1st year being on a bi-weekly schedule meeting the learning objectives as previously approved. There would be 2 students to each faculty.
Motion to approve the piloting of a formation of a new continuity clerkship that would occur every other week.

- Professionalism task force

- The Professionalism table was previously approved by this committee for the HSS Courses but did not formally vote that this should be the standard professionalism assessment for Phase 1 courses. A few modifications were made after discussing with the Course Directors. This information will be placed in all Phase 1 course syllabi.
Motion to approve that this will be the professionalism assessment standards used in all the Phase One courses.

Provided the overview of end-of-year survey notable results for AY 2023-2024. Very good responses rate from the four classes. Discussion will occur at the Aug meeting.
